Description Graham's 30 Years Old Tawny Port

One of the most distinguished and at the same time the finest Oporto. Very long maturation has given it a wonderful mellowness and harmony, as well as the energy of youth despite its age. This Portuguese wine has a light amber color with orange highlights, an intense aroma of nuts and a velvety, silky, lingering mouthfeel.

Graham's 30 Years Old Tawny Port wine reviews

"Aroma of dried cherries, plums, figs and candied fruit. Toffee also appears. Dense, very sweet, with layers of dried fruit, burnt wood and caramel. Some earthy notes and salted nuts. Very complex." - James Suckling

" Full-bodied, with notes of walnut and hazelnut at the forefront, followed by dark bread, dried fig, bitter orange, burnt almond and hints of juniper. A wonderful flash of green tea lends a wonderful finish." - Wine Spectator

Graham's Vineyard

Graham's is a prominent house in the Douro Valley in northern Portugal. The company was founded as a textile company in the early 19th century by brothers William and John Graham in Glasgow, who received a barrel of port as repayment for a debt. Since then, the company has expanded, and today Graham's is owned by the Symington family, which owns several other port houses, including Dow's and Warre's. The house creates a range of styles of port, including classic ruby, tawny and white port, and showcases many vintage-exclusive bottles. The Quinta dos Malvedos vineyard supplies much of the grapes for Graham's vintage rank port and is considered one of the company's best vineyards, acquired in 1890. The main plantings there are Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, which ripen in a sunny, hot terroir.
