Characteristics of the Pinot Grigio grapeThe standard

shade in the glass for this Pinot is a light, pale yellow color. Limes, lemon zest and white peaches dominate the aroma combination. These wines are light and pleasant, with clear, refreshing acidity. The structure, depending on the region, can be delicate and silky - as in the case of northern Italy, or more oily and dense - as is the case with wines from Alsace. In addition, aromatic notes of honey, almonds and spices often appear in the latter.

An interesting example of Pinot Grigio's potential is the Italian region of Friuli, where winemakers use the dark grape skin to produce a unique style of their wines - ramato. After several days of maceration of the skins in juice, the wine takes on a copper color, while enhancing the aromas and structure.

The skin of Pinot Grigio is also used for the production of rosé wines from this grape, which owe this natural color to a skillfully carried out, appropriately long maceration

.Pairing Pinot Grigio with a mealThe ideal

partner on the plate for Pinot Grigio wines are light summer dishes based on fish and seafood (such as shrimp). Salads with dressing with a slightly acidic character, fried fish with vegetables, or even spring risotto will be a very interesting complement to our glass. It also goes surprisingly well when paired with sushi. Supporters of white meat will be pleased without exception, as Pinot Grigio feels perfectly at home in the company of dishes with chicken, turkey and even tender duck. The pleasant crispness coming from the wine also means that we don't have to be afraid of spicy spices in the dish.

The refreshing qualities also encourage us to serve a glass as an aperitif and enjoy it with a group of friends under a cloud on a hot day. Thanks to the versatility of the style, Pinot Grigio can reconcile many picky tastes and please everyone, so it's an excellent social or party choice

.Find your favorite Pinot GrigioThe incredible

variety of styles flowing from region after region of the world - Italy, Germany, France, Australia or New Zealand, combined with the many interpretations of the wine with contributions from local terroirs make wines from the Pinot Grigio varietal - also taking into account the fantastic price/quality ratio - an extremely appealing direction. We strongly encourage you to explore more bottles and find your favorite style encapsulated in the best prepared Pinot Grigio wine selections.
