Wines from Dwórzno Winery

Dworzno Winery treats tasters to a wide range of both grape and fruit wines. Here we can find very popular in Poland white strains such as solaris and johanniter, which will charm us with their fruity character and refreshing acidity. The Dworzno winery also offers us a delightfully aromatic pink wine from the regent strain. There is no shortage of interesting coupage wines either - depending on our preferences, we can taste them in red or white versions - or various types of sparkling wines. And if we are looking for other types of local specialties, at this versatile winery near Warsaw we have the opportunity to taste excellent wines made from black currants, Kamchatka berries, as well as the previously mentioned raspberries. The fruit also comes from local plantations.

History of Dworzno Winery

It is interesting to note that the founding of Dworzno Winery was inspired by the experimental vinification of raspberries, a plantation of which was located in the area back in the 1990s. Thus, the first vine bushes were planted in 2012, and the winery itself entered the market in 2015. The thriving development of Dworzno Vineyard allowed it to open to tourists as well in 2018, and since then it has been possible to visit the estate and taste local wines.

Visiting Dworzno Winery

Dworzno Winery remains open to tourists throughout the year. The tour includes visits to the vineyard itself and to the processing plant, during which we are initiated into the wine production methods used, and have the opportunity to listen to many interesting facts about the cultivated vines. The walk ends with a tasting of local products accompanied by a sommelier's commentary. The tour lasts about two hours and during this time we acquire comprehensive knowledge about the operation of the Dworzno Winery and the liquors produced there. As an added bonus, there are plaques with QR codes spread throughout the grounds, which give visitors access to a series of videos introducing the winery.

Dworzno Winery - accommodation

While it is not possible to stay overnight at the winery itself, there is no shortage of convenient lodging bases in the area. The owners of the estate recommend several trusted establishments offering accommodation to tourists wishing to visit Dworzno Vineyard, where it is additionally possible to get a lift to the site of the tour.

Dworzno Winery - events

Dworzno Vineyard is bustling with activity and proof of this are the numerous events held there, led by the Wine Festival - one of the largest wine festivals in Poland - which takes place annually in the first week of September. Admission to the event is free. In addition to this iconic event, the suburban winery gives us the opportunity to participate in summer Jazz Picnics and winter walruses... in wine vats! Meanwhile, a torchlight tour awaits Halloween enthusiasts. There is something for everyone at Dworzno Winery.
