Wine for the Christmas tableWhite

or red, dry or sweet, one or more bottles? Such questions often accompany us before the holidays. If you do not have the opportunity to advise an expert, we suggest some ready-made solutions. These Christmas wines will perfectly match the traditional dishes of the Christmas menu. The main character on the Christmas Eve table is undoubtedly fish. We have both cold appetizers, among which carp in jelly and herring reign supreme, as well as baked fish served hot. Thus, one type of wine may not be enough here. To carp in jelly, but also to cabbage dumplings, ravioli or łazanki will go well with light and fresh wines such as Vinho Verde, Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio. For herring, it is worth serving wine with a little residual sugar. German rieslings, such as Kendermanns Riesling Spatlese, among others, have it. Baked and fried fish will go best with a well-structured chardonnay. For desserts, we recommend switching to slightly sweeter wines. Kutia, depending on the level of sweetness, will pair well with Tokaj. On the other hand, for poppies and other cakes, you can choose a sweet and slightly sparkling Mosctao D'Asti. When meat appears on the holiday table, it's time for red wine. Roast meats, for example, can be served with Merlot from New Vistula or wines from the Gamay variety. Game and beef is a job for wines such as Spanish tempranillo or French blend. Duck, on the other hand, goes well with a lighter wine like Pinot Noir. It can be a California Gnarly Head or Joseph Drouhin from Burgundy

.Wine under the Christmas treeChristmas

not only on the table rule the wines. At Christmas we also give them as gifts. After all, it is a versatile and elegant gift. It can be a stand-alone gift or a nice addition to something bigger. Wine as a gift for the holidays tends to be a bit more elegant than for everyday use. Proposals that stand out by their production technique, label, wine character or unique ingredient work well. Among our gems, Primitivo di Manduria is very popular. It has been an absolute bestseller for many months. So there is a good chance that it will also be an apt gift. That leaves champagne. There is no more versatile and elegant wine for a gift. A pink Lallier Grand Cru Rose Brut or a semi-dry Georges Lacombe - both bottles will surely please the recipient. It is worth remembering that women and younger people generally prefer lighter, fruitier wines, simply mild in taste. Men and connoisseurs may prefer heavier wines with strong barrel aromas. One should also not forget about tasteful packaging. However, if you do not have too large a budget, you can demonstrate creative ingenuity - tying a ribbon, or preparing a funny personalized label - such a gesture is sure to bring a smile to the face of the recipient

.Wine for Christmas relaxationWine

for Christmas is not just a partner for dishes or a bottle under the Christmas tree. It can be an excuse for Christmas gatherings among friends. In the fervor of preparations for Christmas, everyone can use a moment of relaxation with a glass of favorite wine. The atmosphere immediately becomes special.
