We invite you to explore the list of wines over 200 zlotys from around the world, where detailed descriptions, high-quality photos and opinions of our customers will help you choose the right bottle.

Each wine over 200 zlotys is a different, engaging story about people with a passion.

Many things can influence the higher price of a wine: demanding grape varieties, extreme growing conditions, strict selection of grapes, low yields per hectare, experienced winemakers or good reviews from renowned wine critics. However, in our opinion, the greatest value is the stories of people with great passion behind the more expensive bottles. Take, for example, Italy's Tignanello. The wine is the result of a family with a great deal of experience. Antinori wine knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation for over 600 years! Their wines were on the market long before the world's first light bulb. Impressive, right? Besides, Tignanello is one of the so-called supertoscans. Interestingly, for a higher price you get... a lower appellation. However, this informal category is something exclusive. Tignanello is a proprietary wine of excellent quality, although created against the appellation rules in Tuscany. Let's move to Spain and to an even more expensive example. Vega Sicilia is also a wine above £200, but its value can be as high as four digits. The very region in which it is made is seen as exclusive. High-end wines are produced here, and literally so. This is because grapes grow as high as 1,000 meters above sea level. That's almost halfway to Poland's Rysy Mountains. To harvest the fruit in such conditions you have to use special mountain wagons. It is impossible to get there any other way. In addition, the climate is not at all favorable: hot and dry summers, large fluctuations in air temperature between night and day. This results in less fruit, which in turn - they give more complex wines with concentrated flavor.

When to reach for a wine over 200 zł?

More expensive bottles are best opened during special occasions and among people with similar taste. Rather, they are not suggestions for a party or for sipping in front of the TV, but for slow savoring. Such wines can quietly wait to be drunk for several or more years, provided they are stored properly. So they are recommended for various anniversaries: weddings, birthdays or important events.
