. Often, in order to achieve higher quality, not all the grapes from a given vineyard are harvested, but only from specific, best parts of it. Producers even carry out so-called green harvesting. This involves cutting off and discarding even before the grapes are harvested... the healthy fruit! This is done precisely so that those that remain on the vines are more robust and produce even better wines.

Behind everything is an experienced winemakerIt is

he who decides on production. Wanting to enhance the qualities of the wine, he uses various techniques, such as barrel aging. This adds additional flavors to the wines. Sometimes these methods are more revolutionary. Such was the case with the iconic Campofiorin. It can be said that it was created from "mixing" a complex wine with a simple one. This is because the winemaker reused the dried grapes from the production of Amarone and combined them with fresh Valpolicella wine. Such a procedure was first used 50 years ago. At the time, it seemed rather unusual. The technique made Campofiorin resemble expensive Amarone in taste, yet it is cheaper than it. It falls into the category of wines up to PLN 100.
