.What influences expensive wines.

When choosing a bottle of expensive wine, the price of which exceeds the limit of 100 zlotys, we usually ask ourselves - what makes the chosen wine worth so much, and what are its qualities that prove it? There are several key aspects that determine this value. First and foremost is the location of the winery itself. Places with a rich winemaking history, but also characterized by outstanding terroir for growing grapes and extracting quality fruit, are extremely expensive. What's more, often places with an exceptionally good location in relation to the sun, such as on hills, do not allow for machine support during vine care and grape harvesting, which also significantly increases the cost of production.

Another aspect is the vinification process itself - higher-end wines are often matured in oak barrels, which means that in the end we can enjoy unusual elegance and complexity of flavor in the glass. The process of such maturation itself is expensive - both the material from which the barrels are constructed is more expensive than steel vats. An additional argument in favor of maturation is also the effect on the aging potential of the wine - those spending more time in oak can spend more time in the cellar developing their aromas and gaining value.

Expensive wines also involve more careful selection of grapes, often with a controlled yield, which is further influenced by the weather of a given vintage, all of which translates into a concentration of flavor in the fruit. As a result, the number of bottles produced from the places with the greatest potential can be very limited by a number of variable factors

In the first place, you should be interested in such wines because of the unusual quality, which can show the full potential of the selected varietal, appellation and region of origin, as well as the artistry of the winemaker. By constantly seeking new flavors and exploring the world of wine, bottles from the hands of the best winemakers allow you to understand the rich and complex world of wine culture.
