Tomintoul Tlath Single Malt is an excellent Scotch whisky from the Speyside region. "Tlath" in Gaelic means "mild" and "gentle," which translates perfectly into the character of the alcohol. It is referred to by the owners themselves as "The Gentle Dram" and indeed - this Scotch whisky is a very mild and delicate single malt from the Speyside region. On the nose you can sense toffee candy, vanilla, mint leaves and citrus refreshment with orange peel at the forefront. On the palate, it is light, but has good density. Tasting it brings notes of white pepper, spices and nutmeg on the one hand, while on the other, the whisky captivates with the softness of buttercream and the freshness of mint.
