Wine Oremus Tokaji Furmint Late Harvest

Oremus Tokaji Late Harvest 2019 is an excellent sweet wine from Hungary's legendary Tokaj region. Among the varietals used in production are classic local varieties such as Furmint, Harslevelu, Zeta y Sargamuskotaly. At least half of the grapes in the production of this wine are botrytized - that is, they are harvested only after being attacked by noble mold.

This results in a wine that is extremely balanced and balanced - the wine's natural acidity is harmonized by a high concentration of sugars resulting from water loss during botrytization. As a result, the wine is sweet, yet extremely silky. It captivates with aromas of flowers, honey and delicate candies.

Oremus Tokaji Late Harvest will perfectly accompany fruit desserts and ice cream, as well as with pâté and a board of moldy cheeses. The wine's balanced character makes it extremely pleasant to taste solo as well.

Oremus Vineyard

An outstanding region - Tokaj, a Hungarian icon of winemaking, among which Oremus, a winery located in the center of the region, plays an important role. In 1993, the winery was founded by the Alvarez family, then called Tokaj-Oremus Vinedos y Bodegas. Its estates extend above all in the Tolcsva area, where there is, for example, a magnificent labyrinth of wine cellars whose existence dates back to the 13th century.

In 2002, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee granted its exceptional status to the region recognizing the unique conditions and terroir that influence the creation of outstanding wines that leave a unique impact in Hungarian and world culture.
