Wine Noble Red Special Release Ellena Shiraz

A dry red wine straight from Heathcote in Victoria, Australia's wine region. The core of the wine is made up of a perfectly acceptable local Shiraz with a touch of Cabernet Franc, aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.

The class of this wine is recognized by an extremely complex bouquet of aromas full of dark fruits and spices. On the palate, the juicy and essential structure conceals a perfect harmony between soft tannins, delicate touches of sweetness and a long, spiced finish.

Noble Red Ellena Shiraz is a wine that will go well with meals based on red meat. Its character will fit perfectly into grilled dishes and with a board of aged cheeses. It is also a delectable gift for a person with a taste for new-world higher-end wines.

Noble Red Vineyard

Noble Red Vineyard was established in 2002 in a region on rich and ancient Cambrian soils. Today, the vineyard consists of 15 acres of planted vines - mostly Shiraz, but there has also been room for small amounts of Tempranillo, Mourvedre and Cabernet.

Noble Red Vineyard grows its crops with extreme care and minimal use of chemicals, so they receive a smaller yield with greater fruit contrance. These produce great wines characteristic of the Heathcote region. The winery has twice received 5 stars from James Holliday, as well as boasting 94 points for Shiraz and 95 points for wine labeled as "Ellena."
