Wine The Wanted Ranger Syrah

A red, semi-dry wine from southern Italy's Puglia region. The wine is the result of a coupage of Syrah (93%) and Viognier (7%) varietals. It is the latter varietal that is placed first in the fermentation tanks, allowing the elegant aromas of this white variety to manifest in the final wine. The final wine is aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels.

In the glass it captivates with reflections of deep garnet, while the nose manifests notes of cherries, violets and smoked bacon. On the palate, the full and round body enjoys rich ripe tannins and a long, lingering, slightly smoky finish.

An outstanding wine for burgers, lamb, red braised meats and pastes in sauces with meat.
