Quinta DO Perdigao Touriga Nacional DAO is a refined, elegant Portuguese wine made from the Touriga Nacional grape. It was matured for 12 months in French oak barrels. The wine is an intense ruby color, with violet highlights. On the nose, the bouquet is delightful with notes of black plum, figs, raspberries, violets, tea and bergamot. On the palate, the wines are silky, complex, deep. Delicate accents are broken by stronger flavors of coffee, tobacco and chocolate. This dry gift wine is both elegant and fresh, as well as intense and complex.
