Wine Passimora Nero d'Avola Appassimento DOC Sicilia

A dry red wine from the western part of Sicily, an island located in southern Italy. It is made entirely from the region's signature Nero d'Avola grape. The grapes undergo a short drying process to bring out a higher concentration of fruit. This process is called Appassimento.

In the glass, the wine exudes a deep red color. Delicate hints of red fruit and pomegranate come out in a bouquet of unusual aromas broken by touches of dried plums and candied fruit. On the palate, silky and juicy, full of pleasant, fine tannin.

Passimora Nero d'Avola will go perfectly with a board of meats and seasonal and fresh cheeses, as well as with grilled vegetables and meat dishes. The wine's pleasant charkater makes it also suitable for tasting without a meal.
