Wine Lagar de Cervera Albarino DO Rias Baixa

La Rioja Alta sought excellence in white wines and found it in the heart of the Rias Baixas, in the northwestern part of Spain's Atlantic coast, located in the Galicia region. The region is characterized by a privileged microclimate and it is there that an extraordinary quality grape variety known as Albarino is produced.

Legar de Cerva is a dry white wine produced by the Lagar de Fornelos winery. The grapes come from vineyards in the village of Viña Cevera in O Rosal. The color of the wine is light straw with a noticeable greenish hint. The aforementioned Albarino varietal gives the wine aromas of citrus, tropical fruits, juicy apricot, ripe apples and pears. On the palette of flavors it adds pleasant acidity and refreshing minerality, and the finish is topped off with flavors of hot lychee.

The wine goes perfectly with seafood, as well as with Asian cuisine based on raw fish. In hot weather, it can be consumed as an Aperitif.
