Whisky Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or Sauternes Cask Finish

The honey-gold whisky from Glenmorangie is a phenomenal beverage. Initially matured in American casks, it then actively acquired characteristics from French casks from the Sauternes region, famous for its sweet wines. The maturation process has given the whisky incredible character, mellowness and uniqueness. In the nose you can immediately sense sweetness, honey and apricots with a distinct lime accent. The mouth is full-bodied, with elements of dessert wine, with notes of spice and berry fruit. The finish is very long, with hints of lemon, white chocolate and vanilla sweetness. The whisky has won many awards, including silver medals at the 2008-2009 IWSC.
