Wine Finca La Solana Old Vines DOP Jumilla

A dry red wine from Spain, from the Jumilla appellation located in the Murcia region. Bodegas Luzón is one of the main producers and exporters of quality DO Jumilla wines and one of its most historic wineries, producing wine since the late 19th century. The grapes that make up the core of the wine are a blend of Monastrell with an admixture of 30% Syrah varietal, harvested from older vines in the vineyard, resulting in a more mature and fuller structure in the glass.

In the glass we find a beautiful ruby red with a touch of violet. The aromas are dominated by blueberries, blackberries and violets. On the palate, the rich body is complemented by touches of licorice. The round tannins and long finish provide an extremely pleasant and memorable experience.

This remarkable wine will go very well with dishes such as roast sirloin, stews, roast chicken, typical meat dishes with rice (paella), and semi-mature cheeses.
