Vodka made from grapes - Armagnac - is a type of vodka, for the production of which 10 grape strains are allowed, the most popular of which are ugni balnc, folle blanche, colombard and baco blanc. The history of this liquor dates back to the 15th century and the name armagnac derives from a French region in Gascony. Castarede Bas XO is made at Florence Castarede's internationally respected distillery, now the oldest in the Armagnac region. The XO designation refers to the maturation time of the youngest distillate (blended vino) and is at least 5.5 years here.
