Wine Zamosc Winery Ice Wine

Apple wine which is an extraordinary essence of taste and aromas of the highest quality. During frost, the fruit, along with ice crystals, exfiltrates water molecules, leaving condensed flavors and sugars. In a further process, the juice thus collected is subjected to slow cold fermentation, yielding the so-called ice wine. This method of production requires as much as 5.5kg of apples to make a liter of wine, so the process of obtaining it is not cheap, and the wines themselves are considered extremely valuable and prestigious. Instead, they fit perfectly with desserts or as an aperitif, but also served with a cheese board, nuts and a fruit plate.
