Wine Semeli Reserve Nemea DOP

SEMÉLI NEMEA RESERVE 2015 wine is a fine dry red wine from Greece. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Made from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes - one of Greece's finest grape varieties, grown here on the mountain slopes of Nemea. Local winemakers give such wines the term "Blood of Hercules" for their blood-deep red color and strong body. Youthful softness in texture, deep purple color and noticeable viscosity of the liquor are the visual characteristics of this wine. On the nose, young yet deeply aromatic, it is loaded with dense spice aromas, complex fruit accents and perfectly composed oak notes. On the palate, one senses well-developed acidity, ripeness and noble tannins. The finish of the taste is good and persistent. We suggest serving with red meat dishes, grilled dishes, pasta dishes with red sauces and with cheeses.
