Wine Bastioni Della Rocca Leggero Appassimento IGT Puglia

A red semi-dry wine from the famous and beloved Puglia - a southern region of Italy loved especially for its wines from the Primitivo grape. In this case, Primitivo makes up only 20% of the wine - the rest is made up of Negroamaro grapes. Both varieties undergo a 25-day drying process while still on the vine, which helps concentrate aromatic compounds and sugars by reducing water in the fruit.

The ruby red in the glass entices from the first contact with the eye. Contact with the nose, on the other hand, brings beautiful aromas of dark dried fruits with a touch of spice. On the palate, it's round, expressive and juicy, with silky tannins and a delicate sweetness on the finish.

This is an excellent wine for pairing with spicy pastas, red meat and a board of aged cheeses and cured meats. The wine's delicate character will also do well at a party with friends.
