Wine Altos de Luzon

Altos de Luzon is a red Spanish wine from the great producer Bodegas Luzón. This dry wine was created from the Monastrell varietal. The color of the wine is an intense cherry red with garnet highlights. The bouquet of the wine is strong and intense, with aromas of ripe blackberries and plums. Spiciness is added by spices, notes of cocoa in harmony with vanilla coming from the barrels in which the wine was aged for 12 months. On the palate, Altos de Luzon is elegant and silky, with good acidity and ripe tannins. It will beautifully complement a meal consisting of wild fowl, blue cheeses or fish such as salmon or tuna.
