Wine Zensa Rose Organic IGP Puglia

An equal blend of Negroamaro 50% and Primitivo 50% varietals. Both varieties are selected from vineyards located in the Salento region of southern Puglia. Typically, vines around 20-25 years old are selected. The grapes are harvested at various dates. For primitivo it is the end of August, while for negroamaro it is about 10 days later, in early September. The fruit undergoes the vinification process in the same way, but each variety separately. Stalked grapes are crushed, then cooled to 10˚C and left on the skins to macerate for about 6-8 hours. This gives the must a pink hue. The must is then placed in stainless steel tanks for 36 hours. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15˚C-16˚C and lasts about 10 days. Until mid-October, both wines remain on the lees in tanks, each separately to bring out the complexity of the aromas before being blended together.

A beautiful pink color encased in an elegant bottle. The wine endows us with aromas such as strawberries and melon, as well as floral notes, roses and jasmine to be precise. On the palate, fruity exoticism, freshness and minerality stand out. It also delights us with a refreshing and long finish.

Zensa Rose Organic IGP Puglia will go well with meat dishes, especially lamb. It will also be a good companion to grilled dishes.
