Wine Tombacco Azzurra Rosso IGT Puglia

An exquisite dry wine from the enduringly popular Puglia region - located in southern Italy. The character of the wine is created by two varietals - Primitivo, accounting for 80-90% of the coupage, complemented by Negroamaro, which is the rest of the wine. Azzurra is aged in two types of barrels - smaller ones holding 500 liters of wine, as well as large barrels with a capacity of 6,000 liters.

Intense aromas captivate from the first twist of the glass - delicate cherries and blackberries blend perfectly with touches of spices, including rosemary and pepper. There were also barrel notes - especially vanilla and chocolate emerging ahead of the ranks. On the palate, it's rounded, with fine tannin and a juicy, pronounced finish.

Azzurra will go well with red grilled meats, as well as a board of aged cheeses. Silky tannins and low acidity also make it an extremely pleasant choice for gatherings with friends.
