La Ladra, is a wine from Piedmont, made from the Barbera grape, in the acclaimed Barbera d'Asti appellation. This Italian wine from the north is aged for 9 months in French oak barrels sourced from Allier. Its color is purple, with distinct violet highlights. The aroma is intense and harmonious. One can smell rosehip blossom, red fruits and spices (vanilla and pepper). Its taste is well balanced, the tannins are soft, the finish is smooth and exceptionally long. A thought-provoking wine.
