Wine Oreinos Helios White Peloponnese IGP

It combines the best of two great varietals: the elegant Greek Moschofilero, with aromas of rose, lemon blossom that are intense in the wine; and the popular and world-loved Sauvignon Blanc, loaded with aromas of citrus and exotic fruits. The white Oreinos Helios has a nice light, perhaps even pale, yellow-greenish color, with subtle hints of gray. On the nose, the wine is intense and ripe, with elegant aromas of rose. It has the best of Greece's beloved Moschofilero and the king of Sauvigonon Blanc's popularity. On the palate we will feel a slight tannic dryness, well balanced with acidity that is quite strong in the wine. The wine will be appreciated by proponents of wines that are a bit livelier, especially those with a strongly perceptible minerality, as here. The wine will be an excellent accompaniment to any seafood dishes, especially shellfish and fish, pasta with seafood, it will go perfectly with sushi and sashimi, but it will also accentuate the taste of poultry and white meat well.
