Description La Spinetta Moscato D'Asti Bricco Quaglia DOCG

La Spinetta Moscato D'Asti is a sensational, lightly sparkling and deliciously sweet wine from a great producer. This Italian white wine has a slightly yellow color with green highlights. On the nose, the wine is sweet, lively and full-bodied with notes of apricot and pineapple. This wine surprises with unusual freshness, a huge portion of fruit and sweetness, a touch of lively and crisp acidity along with a dessert finish. Full of lightness and sweetness, this wine is an ideal choice for a celebration with friends.

La Spinetta was the first to produce Moscato D'Asti coming from a single vineyard. The wine comes from the Bricco Quaglia parcel, located in the municipality of Mango.

La Spinetta Moscato D'Asti Bricco Quaglia DOCG wine reviews

"Compared to the second label Moscato d'Asti Biancospino from La Spinetta, the 2019 Bricco Quaglia shows additional freshness and vibrant character. The bouquet has plenty of honey, fragrant white flower, white peach and melon. In the mouth, it is delicate and sweet, with a soft and frothy effervescence, nicely balanced sweetness and a mineral note." - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate

La Spinetta Vineyard

La Spinetta is an Italian winemaker known for producing wines in Piedmont. It is particularly known for its Barbaresco and Barolo Campe wines, as well as an innovative blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera called Pin. These wines are known for their mature, voluptuous style and can be drunk young or aged for many years.

The estate was founded in 1977, and initially production focused on Moscato. In 1985, La Spinetta released its first red wine, Cà di Pian under the Barbera d'Asti appellation. Pin was introduced in 1989, and the first Nebbiolo from the listed winery, Barbaresco Gallina, was released in 1995.
