On the palate, the beverage is round with a satisfying buttery and smooth finish. You can taste whipped cream, butter and baking spices. This whisky was aged in new charred American oak barrels from Minnesota for about 4 years. Koval Distillery is a small distillery in Chicago that was founded during the Prohibition era and is now one of the leading land distilleries in the US. It was founded in 2008 by Robert and Sonat Birnecker, who left a career in science to follow their hearts. The distillery supports sustainable agriculture and is certified organic and kosher.
