Isole e Olena Syrah Collezione Privata is an exceptional wine from the private collections of Isole e Olena. This red Italian wine is made only from the Syrah varietal - the fruit was hand-picked and carefully selected. After fermentation - the wine was aged 18 months in French and American oak barrels and for another 12 months in large oak barrels. The color of this dry wine from Tuscany is dark ruby with purple hues. On the nose, the wine is complex and intense, with a bouquet full of black currant and chocolate, with notes of exotic black tea spices and cloves. On the palate it is fresh and round, with balanced tannins. The wine was highly rated in the ratings, receiving, among others, 94 points from Vinous Antonio Galloni and 17 points out of a possible 20 from Vinum Wine Magazine.
