Wine Clos Du Marquis AOC Saint-Julien 2019

An outstanding wine from the esteemed Saint-Julien appellation located in the cradle of world winemaking, in one of the great regions of France - Bordeaux. It was created from a classic Bordeaux blend, in which 70% of the grapes are Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot and an admixture of 7% Cabernet Franc. It develops character in both new and older French oak barrels.

Extremely rich and needing to catch a bit of air after opening, the wine opens the tasting with a unique bouquet full of blackberries, plums, burnt wood and spices with touches of graphite. On the palate, full body with concentrated structure, lively acidity and velvety tannins. The tasting experience is crowned with a long and juicy finish, highlighting the wine's multidimensionality and exceptional complexity.

This wine will go well with a board of aged cheeses and cured meats, as well as with dishes based on red meat. The complex structure and barrel aging makes Clos du Marquis age perfectly, so it is an excellent choice for the cellar (or a gift!).
