Casa Giona Amarone Della Valpolicella is a dry red wine with long aging potential. It comes from one of the most recognized appellations in the world - DOCG Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico. Three local grape varieties are used: Rondinella, Corvina and Corvignone. Casa Giona Amarone owes its uniqueness to the production method called apassimento. After harvesting, the grapes are placed on special baskets, where they are dried under the right conditions to concentrate the aromas and sugar. The entire winemaking process is completed with 18 months of aging of the wine in wooden barrels.
