Wine Carlo Hauner Hiera IGT

A unique Sicilian wine with an original, eye-catching bottle. This red wine was matured in barrels for 12 months before being aged for another 9 months more in bottles. This contributed to the production of a very refined wine with a deep ruby color. The extremely complex aromatic bouquet ranges from juicy wild fruits like blackberries to notes of vanilla and cardamom. This Italian wine was made from three varietals - local Calabrese, known as Nero D'Avola, Sangiovese and Corinto Nero. On the palate, it's sunny and warm, with a long and harmonious finish, which is completely unexpected when looking at the label. Hauner Hiera is a clean wine, with distinctive but not overpowering notes of pepper, candied fruit, jam, cedar and clove. For this wine, this is the perfect time to enjoy it.
