ALION 2014 1.5 MAGNUM RESERVA RIBERA DEL DUERO wine owes its uniqueness to a careful selection of grapes from the best vineyards in the Ribera del Duero region owned by the famous producer Vega Sicilia. The producer's hallmark is the prolific vines, mostly of the Tempranillo variety, which create the exceptional wines of Dom Vega Sicilia. Alion is the most modern winery in the Vega Sicilia group, and the ALION'11 3L RESERVA RIBERA DEL DUERO wine captures its spirit: it is modern, rich and seductive. Alion's Riebra del Duero wine was made entirely from the Tempranillo grape. The average age of the vineyards from which it comes is 30 years. The tradition of Alion wines is exclusively hand harvested. The wines of the 2014 vintage from Ribera del Duero are considered better than the wines from the Rioja region from that year. This is confirmed by Alión 2014 wines. Alion wines are considered the most modern of the wines in the prestigious Vega Sicilia producer group.

Alion 2014 wine is silky, voluptuous, rich with jammy and ripe jam notes. Aromas of plum and blueberry, blackberry and black currant emerge, along with notes of milk chocolate and licorice imparted by oak. The grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts in oak vats, and the wine was aged in new and used French barrels for 12 to 14 months. The structure of the wine is rich and powerful, the wine is very well balanced, moreover, it is distinguished by a pleasant acidity. The mouth and palate are pleasing with a large amount of juicy, ripe fruit and a clearly perceptible freshness. A total of 284,284 bottles were produced, 6,500 magnum wines, further emphasizing the uniqueness of the product and the small number of larger volumes. The wine was bottled in June 2016. The ideal time for consumption was estimated to be between 2023 and 2030.

The wine is ready for tasting now, and stored under the right conditions, i.e. constant temperature of 12-14 ºC, humidity of 60%, it has a long potential for aging. The serving temperature should be a maximum of 18 degrees. It is worthwhile for it to stand for a while in the glass before tasting, so that it will warm up and open fully.
