Whisky The Legendary Red Silkie Blended Whisky

Irish whiskey produced by the Sliabh Liag distillery since 2020. Its unique flavor comes from an unusual choice of barrels - as it is finished in Spanish wine barrels from the Rioja and Ribera del Duero regions. Wines from Ribera provide the wine with a powerful structure, while those from Rioja provide a complex bouquet of fruit. This combination is translated into a whiskey with deep character and uncommon flavor.

Red Silkie exudes a deep amber color. The bouquet of aromas is dominated by the sweetness of red fruits - berries and strawberries, accompanied by sandalwood, nutmeg and crisp apple. The aromatic character also translates into a sweet taste reminiscent of strawberry marmalade, dried fruit or tea. On the finish, raisin sweetness with a slightly smoky touch closes the whole of an extremely fascinating tasting.
