The Whistler Irish Whiskey is made at the family-owned Boann Distillery in the heart of the Boyne Valley in County Meath. The Cooney family has three single malt whiskies in its portfolio, among them is Whistler Irish Whiskey 7 YO The Blue Note . This whiskey owes its rich yet mellow flavor to maturation in oak Bourbon, and Olorose Sherry barrels. In the nose one can sense sweet lemon sorbet, salted caramel and dark berry fruits. On the palate, the Whisky again feels sweet citrus with a touch of spiciness.
