Whisky Lagavulin Malt 16YO

Lagavulin Malt 16YO is a sensational single malt Scotch whisky from the island of Islay. It was matured for 16 years in Bourbon and sherry casks. The color of the whisky is amber. Upon opening - the whisky is very aromatic and volatile, slowly releasing subtle smoky, vinous notes from the casks, dried fruits, honey and sea salt. On the palate, this Scotch whisky is mellow, but with a long aftertaste. The whisky is rich and complex, with noticeable layers of flavor, in which we find roasted almonds, honey, dark chocolate, caramel, salt, dried figs and prunes, candied orange peel, pepper and peat. Lagavulin Malt 16YO is the region's flagship whisky, it has been included in the Classic Malts of Scotland list and represents the Islay region with dignity.
