Whisky Borders While We Wait Single Grain Scotch Whisky

Borders While We Wait is an excellent Scotch whisky made from 50% wheat and 50% malted barley. The whisky is matured in Bourbon and Sherry Oloroso casks. The name Borders alludes to the River Tweed, which forms the border between Scotland and England and on which the founders' great-grandfather lived, referring to tradition and a desire to bring whisky production back to the area. The nose has notes of sherry, traces of nuts and a hint of sweetness. The color of the whisky is natural, slightly golden. On the palate, the whisky presents pronounced accents of oloroso sherry, with hints of walnuts, vanilla, herbs and flowers. The finish is long and complex.
