Whisky Mosgaard Organic Whisky Pedro Ximenez Cask Single Malt

An excellent Single Malt whisky with an extremely expressive, slightly spicy and rich character from Denmark. Originally aged in fresh French oak barrels, the distillate is then finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, which add additional sweetness and color to the final whisky.

When tasting it, one senses notes of caramel and chocolate, but also apples, citrus, dried fruits, roasted figs and distinctly barrel-aged accents - vanilla and leather. On the palate it impresses with a perfect harmony between sweetness, spicy notes and a multifaceted body. The taste of this whisky was recognized with the distinction of Best Danish Single Malt Whisky 2021.
