Wine Merit DOQ Priorat 2018

A dry red wine from one of the Spanish appellations famous for its prestigious and excellent wines - Priorat. The base of the wine consists of four varietals, Merlot, Syrah, Garnatxa and Carinyena. The wine is aged for 12 months in stainless steel.

The wine was created to show the full expression of the fruit without the influence of oak barrel. The bouquet of aromas features red fruits, roses and flowers with touches of wild herbs and earthy aromas. On the palate, delicate raspberry stands out above the forest fruit palette. Perfect harmony of tannins and acidity with a mineral note.

Merit Priorat will work perfectly in the accompaniment of red meats and a board of mature cheeses and cured meats.

Perinet Vineyard

The Perinet estate's vineyards encompass three completely unique and distinct microclimates in the Priorat region. The diversity of terroir at the sites allows the winemaking team to achieve harmony and complexity in the wines created. The vineyards at the different sites give the wines different character: fruity and pleasant at Mas Vell, fresh and long at Mas del Xes, and overflowing with spice, cooled by the Mediterranean breeze at Pendents. The influence of this climatic mix determines the final character of the resulting wines.
