Wine Vina Alberdi Rioja DOCa Reserva La Rioja Alta

An outstanding dry red wine from the famous Rioja region of Spain, an excellent showcase for the Tempranillo varietal. The grapes are harvested from 40-year-old plantings in vineyards located up to 600 meters above sea level. Local conditions combined with hand harvesting and careful selection of the grapes make the wine the essence of the terroir from which it comes. The final character, however, is formed during the 24 months spent in American oak barrel.

In the glass, the wine exudes a deep ruby color. The nose is a veritable concert of fruit aromas such as cherries, strawberries, raspberries and plums with distinct accents brought from the barrel - caramel, vanilla and wood. In the mouth, silky tannins with a complex structure and a long, essential finish provide long moments of pleasure.

An excellent wine for grilled meats, as well as for aged cheeses, pasta or steaks.
