This wonderful Chardonnay opens up a wonderful palette of aromas and flavors. The nose shows accents of peaches and pears with intertwining tropical fruits and a subtle creaminess. On tasting, the ripe fruit and mineral character play first fiddle. This American classic is great tasting thanks in part to the use of the "sur lie" method - the wine was matured on the lees with wine yeast for 7 months, resulting in a softer and creamier taste. Karia Chardonnay will pair well with grilled chicken, salmon and dishes with spinach and feta.
