Wine Ochagavia Don Silvestre Reserva Merlot Rapel Valley

A dry red wine from Chile, from the Rapel Valley region. It is 100% made from the Merlot grape. It then develops its character during aging for 6 to 8 months in American and French oak barrels. Finally, the wine rests for another 3 months in bottles.

The wine is purple in color with a bouquet full of dark fruits enriched by hints of vanilla and almond, thanks to the time spent in barrels. On the palate, silky with notes of plums and raisins. Juicy fruity with perfectly balanced tannins. Pleasant, lingering finish.

An excellent wine for pairing with meat dishes, a board of aged cheeses and cuisine based on spicy spices. The wine's mild character also makes it a good accompaniment for solo tastings.
