Whisky Mosgaard Organic Peated Single Malt Whisky

A unique Peated Single Malt whisky, harkening back to the Scottish methods and flavors behind smoky distillates. In the first round, Mosgaard Peated whisky is matured in fresh French oak barrels, which provides the liquor with spicy and spiced notes, as well as a deep color. The distillate is then finished in Bourbon barrels, so that the whole is enriched with notes of vanilla and a characteristic sweetness that balances the smoky accents.

Among the aromas, sweet notes of vanilla, toffee and honey dominate, but green apples, almonds and roasted figs also break through. The whole is wrapped in a smoky character and the distillate's pronounced strength, which is due to the 48.4% alcohol - which, however, integrates under the aromatic notes in a very elegant way, without dominating the whole.
