Wine Maxale Chardonnay Macerato Vino Bianco Italiano

A unique and intriguing Chardonnay from Italy, made from grapes harvested in two regions - Puglia and Sicily, two places that love sunshine and ripe fruit. The wine acquires its unusual character by maturing in several ways - some of the wine is aged in large steel tanks, some in small wooden barrels (called barriques), and some.... in special amphorae. In the end, the wine is a blend, with 50% of the content aged for 5 months in French and American oak barrels.

Intense and expressive yellow color in the glass shimmers with golden reflections. The aromas are full of ripe apricot, peach and mango accents, in the background showing some spice and balsamic notes. On the palate, it's very expressive, with a full-bodied structure and a mineral touch.

This is an excellent choice with white meats, but also with salmon or pork, pairing perfectly with aromatic herbs.
