Rye whiskey was made from 100% rye - without any admixture of any other grain. On the nose, the whiskey is fresh, light and fruity, with delicate notes of burnt caramel, ginger, nutmeg and dill. On the palate one senses wholemeal bread, a sweet and spicy blend of honey and ginger, nuts, anise.
