Highland Queen is a Scotch whisky produced since 1893. In the nose one finds the aroma of pineapple, spices and ginger. The taste is light and sweet, with notes of honey, apple, licorice and toffee. The finish is short, with a distinct hint of walnuts. It was named in honor of Mary, Queen of Scotland, executed by order of Elizabeth I. It is considered one of the best whiskies in the world in this price range.
