Whisky For Peat's Sake Peated Blended Scotch Whisky

A Scottish whisky produced by Angus Dundee Distillers. The name of the distillate refers to a legend told by the makers of this whisky, saying that a certain maltster named Peat threw in too much peat during production, which influenced the strong, intensely peaty taste obtained in the end.

It's a whisky that in the bouquet of aromas in the foreground presents definite caramel and vanilla notes entwined with peaty accents. In the mouth, the delicate structure conceals sweet notes of vanilla and butter with a hint of citrus fruits. The whole is complemented by a smoky peat flavor that lingers on the finish along with accents of citrus, spice and vanilla.
