Torrontes varietal wine is a typical white varietal of Argentine wines. It comes from the Salta region, located in the northern part of the country. Argentina prides itself on it, and rightly so, as it is gaining more and more recognition among wine lovers around the world. The aroma is very intense, with dominant white flowers, apricots and citrus fruits. The same is true in the mouth, but everything is well balanced. The not-so-high acidity makes it a great wine for food - with poultry in light sauces and with hard cheeses.
