Beaujolais-Villages are always made from the Gamay grape. French wines, especially those from Burgundy, are famous for their class. In this case we are dealing with a relatively light wine, with aromas of fresh cherry, plum, raspberry, strawberry, with a hint of banana and violet flavors in the background. It tastes best when young and slightly chilled. It will be an excellent companion to light appetizers and cold cuts.
