Wine Doppio Passo Primitivo IGT Salento BiB

Doppio Passo Primitivo IGT Salento BiB is an Italian red wine from the Puglia region in southern Italy. The production process of this wine involves a double fermentation, the so-called doppio passo - part of the grapes are fermented immediately after harvest, while the other part is left to slowly, naturally dry. The already fermented grapes are then added to the dried ones and fermentation is repeated.

This action results in a beautiful ruby color in the glass with purple highlights, a complex structure and a richer body. This wine bursts from the glass with intense aromas of dried plum, cherries, blackberries and blueberries, with delicate hints of chocolate and marzipan in the background. In the mouth, this wine is very fruity and dense, with a good balance between acidity and delicate sweetness. The finish is quite long, fruity and chocolatey. Doppio Passo Primitivo IGT Salento BiB will go perfectly with grilled meats and aromatic meats.

The wine is available in the innovative BiB (Bag in Box) packaging. The advantage of this packaging is the vacuum closure, which prevents air from getting inside, and thus the wine stays fresh longer (up to 6 weeks!), which of course we can't count on with traditional wine. BiB packaging has a capacity of 3 liters.
