Wine Don Silvestre Reserva Carmenere Rapel Valley

The wine comes from the Rapel Valley in Chile. Wines from this region are fruity with good concentration. The grapes of the Carmenere varietal were mostly mechanically harvested. Maceration and fermentation took place in stainless steel vats, which improves the concentration of color and flavor of the wine. After fermentation, the wine is aged for several more months to gain even better complexity and develop more flavor.

Deep purple in the glass, the nose is full of dark fruits, some tobacco leaf and vanilla in the background. The wine is juicy and full of dark fruits such as blueberry, plum and blackberry. Tannins are light, with aromas of black pepper and cigar box on the finish.

Don Silvestre Reserva Carmenere will go perfectly with pastas, red meats and a board of appetizers.
